8 12.01.2004 Auditorium, DG NCC Republic Day Parade Camp, Delhi Cantt. CACI & NCC, in association with Army Hosp R & R, conducted the 1 st ‘All India NCC Cancer Awareness Competition'. 160 NCC cadets representing all states/UTs of India , organized in 16 NCC Dte. Teams, took part.
9 20.01.2004 DG NCC Republic Day Parade Camp, Delhi Cantt. Rolling Trophy', for ‘All India NCC Cancer Awareness Competition', sponsored by CACI, was handed over to Lt.Gen B.K Bopanna, DG NCC, by Ms. Harmala Gupta, President and Mr. P.K.Ghosh,Gen.Secy,CACI. The function was attended by about 100 NCC Officers and 400 cadets, representing all states/ Union Territories.
10 24.01. 2004 Auditorium, DG NCC Republic Day Parade Camp, Delhi Cantt. The ‘Rolling Trophy', for the best NCC team in 1 st All India NCC Cancer Awareness Competition-2004, was presented to ‘Andhra Pradesh NCC Dte. team' by Gen. N.C.Vij, COAS. Chief guest: Gen. 39 12.11.2006 Hotel Maurya, Patna 5 th Annual General Body Meeting (GBM-05) of CACI inaugurated by Shri Nitish Kumar, Chief Minister, Bihar . Imminent Oncologists from India , Nepal , USA , cancer survivors and care givers attended. Presidents of ISO and ISMPO addressed the audience and announced to involve CACI in their activities. Dr M K Piya, of Nepal emphasized the need of interaction by cancer support groups in the region.

Lance Armstrong Foundation, the organizer, highly appreciated the formation of CACI by uniting Cancer Support Groups in India, and the Nationwide Cancer Awareness Programme (CAP) jointly with NCC.
